L39 XXXL

Postby paul f16 » Tue Feb 09, 2016 8:31 pm

Well its finally arrived and its here with me in Poznan, I was coming back this weekend but that has now been delayed for 10 days.

Have tried to post a couple of pics of it hanging out of the garage :D

In the photo of the undercarriage the small wheel you can see is a 3" wheel from 50cc Extra

Hi Dunney

Yes its a tad on the large size , i was on face time last night with Dave and for a laugh i put a 25 liter fuel container in the rear section of the Fuz, it would easily take 4 or 5 .

But its not just the size its the quality, the Fuselage detailing is brilliant , every rivet and screw is clear and easily defined. Believe it or not this plane would fly in and out of our patch that's how well they fly.

I still have a lot to get for it but some of the things are just not ready yet for this model, this one is one of the first 10 produced , so stuff like cockpit , bombs, pilot etc still being developed.

It will be at Weeksy's in about 10 days if you want to see it.

Final finish will be in a scale military scheme.

Another disadvantage of large planes.

jrservos (1).JPG

18 X JR NX8921
2 X Hitech 52kg monster torque

Just to get things moving.

The Plane is now in Weeksy's workshop and has been started and all the bits checked , its amazing how the size of it effects the amount of material going in it. take a look at this basic list of bits :D

1. Hysil Adhesive X 6
2. Mixing nozzles X 20
3. Tygon fuel Tube large size X 10 meters
4. Plywood for extra former's etc X 2 extra large sheets.
5. Heavy duty servo cable X 50 meters
6. Muliplex plugs and sockets X 10
7. 7.4v 5000mA Lipos X 5 min
8. JR servos X 18
9. Hitech Servos X 2

And these are just the things to get started, there are all the electronics, turbines, fuel and smoke systems etc etc .

Will keep you informed !!!
